The Fight Within
Simple, short but provoking the curiosity in a person. Since I connect with this idea so much I have also written what I thought would be a snippet from a book or a narration of the scene. It should give you a better understanding on my idea and you can read it below.
"Imagine a dark shot of a woman, serious, still, unmoving. Her face emotionless, painted undoubtedly as a skull. The light almost too low for her to be seen, but she is. Suddenly she steps forward, her face begins to glow bright ambient colours as if walking into a hidden spotlight. As she continues small wisps of light emerge from within her, swirling, sparking, clashing together as if her life force is spewing out. Good and evil desperately trying to take control.
Unmoved by what is happening around her she treads on, lightly but so menacingly. At her feet wisps fall from their exhaustion and leave their ever lasting imprint on the ground, waiting to be absorbed. They fight on circling around her, neither force stopping till the other has been extinguished. Suddenly her face loses its glow and the wisps become lifeless. Floating, softly to the floor. Flickering, as their light wavers into nothingness. She walks, her back towards you, wandering obviously into the distance. Unaware of the struggle that takes place inside of her."

Essentially I am trying to create a personification of the constant battle that happens within all of us every day, every minute, every second. The never ending decision making between right and wrong, good and bad. I wasn't sure what the idea was my self at first, until I sat down and really thought about it.
On it's own it gives plenty of room to imagine the colours, setting and characteristics of the story. When read with an animatic of my storyboard, I am certain the combined visuals and story telling will complete my overall idea.
It's incredible what your mind can create from something as simple as an image, but that's how most great ideas are born; from something simple.
