VFX Development - Moodboard

So below here is my mood board, as you see it's mostly dominated by the colours blue and then it's opposite moving into the warmer side of the colour spectrum. Both my favourite colours and I am most satisfied when I see them both together, this is one reason why I have decided to change my idea to this specific one.

The upper shots are a more general idea of the colouring of my scenery and a very quick research in to 'wisps'. Unfortunately I haven't found much information on them (as they are fictional) but I have a clear enough idea in my head to re-create them. I have taken shots from 'Conan the Destroyer', 'Beowulf' and 'Brave'. The rest are taking from image searching on google images, which isn't the deepest research but great for it's purpose.

As you can see further down the image there are demonstrations of UV paint, I intend to replicate this effect in my own video. I love the ambient glow it gives off, it illuminates but somehow it's still dark, it draws you towards it, ensnares your attention. I have no doubt that with my subject glowing in this manner will have the very same effect.

As I watched each movie simple because I wanted to, each scene caught my eye and I thought "That's exactly how I want the scene to look". As I have previously mentioned it's hard for me to get an idea out of my head in to a visible state, and when I see this images I instantly use them; many people mistake this for copying however every great creator uses other work, they do what needs to be done.
